Verification & welcome
Gate new members behind a button, greet the ones who get through, and give roles on join.
Verification
Verification posts a button that grants one or more roles when clicked: up to ten from the dashboard, or up to five with /verify setup. It needs a channel to post in and at least one role to give.
- /verify
- Configure and post the verification panel.
The bot role must sit above the role it grants, or Discord will refuse the change.
Welcome and leave messages
Welcome and leave messages are configured separately and each needs its own channel. Placeholders such as {user}, {server} and {memberCount} are filled in when the message is sent.
- /channel
- Set the welcome and leave channels.
Auto role
Auto role gives up to ten roles to every member the moment they join. Set it on the Auto Role page of the dashboard (under Greetings) or with /autorole. Bots never get auto roles, and in a server with rules screening, members get them right away, before they accept the rules.
A role above the bot's own role, a role managed by an integration, or a role with moderation permissions such as Administrator, Manage Roles or Ban Members cannot be used, because every new account would get it.
- /autorole add
- Add a role new members get and turn auto role on.
- /autorole remove
- Stop giving a role. Removing the last one turns auto role off.
- /autorole toggle
- Turn auto role on or off and keep the roles saved.
- /autorole list
- Show the auto roles and whether the bot can give each one.
If you use verification, do not give the verified role (or any role that unlocks the server) as an auto role, or new members skip verification.
