Quick Setup
The /quicksetup menu in Discord and the Quick Setup wizard on the dashboard: what each one asks, and what it changes.
Two ways in
Quick Setup exists in two places that write the same settings. In Discord, /quicksetup opens an ephemeral menu with one area per feature. On the dashboard, the first time you open a server a four-step wizard covers the settings every other page depends on.
Both need you to be a server admin: either the Discord Administrator permission or one of the admin roles saved for the server. The Discord menu is keyed to whoever opened it, so two admins can run it at the same time without touching each other's menu.
- /quicksetup all
- Open the hub and pick an area.
- /quicksetup server
- Jump straight to Server Basics. The same works for ticket, catalog, reviews, embed, invoice and ai.
- ?setup=1
- Add this to your server dashboard URL to reopen the web wizard after you skipped it.
The Discord areas
Each area shows a progress count (settings done out of settings available) and a dropdown of steps. Picking a step opens a role picker, channel picker, toggle, or a short form. Steps marked as done can be picked again to change them.
- Server Basics
- Admin roles (up to 5), the log channel, and the welcome channel. Setting a welcome channel also turns welcome messages on.
- Tickets
- Ticket category, staff roles (up to 5), ticket log channel, transcript channel, and the Ping staff on open toggle. The last step posts a working Open Ticket panel in the current channel.
- Catalog
- Catalog channel, primary currency (USD, EUR or INR), the Catalog module toggle, and Open the store, which creates a catalog channel and a starter General category and posts the live catalog.
- Reviews
- Review channel, the review system toggle, and a one-click action that creates a review channel, turns reviews on and posts a how-to note.
- Embed & Branding
- The server-wide embed color and the default image URL used by any embed image slot you leave empty.
- Invoices
- Brand name, tagline and footer, the accent color, a logo URL, the invoice ID prefix, and a Preview invoice button that renders a sample without saving anything.
- AI Chat
- The master switch, the channels the AI answers in, reply-to-mentions, the Ticket AI Help button, and the system prompt.
Colors must be hex like #DC2626. Image and logo links must start with https:// because Discord does not render http images.
The dashboard wizard
The web wizard is shorter than the Discord menu. It asks for the settings that block everything else and then hands you off to the page you most likely want next.
- Core configuration: Admin Role, Logging Channel, Ticket Category, Staff Role and Catalog Channel.
- Embed color and default image URL, plus the invoice brand name. Anything you set on an individual page later overrides these.
- Modules: untick anything this server will not use. Commands for a disabled module disappear with it.
- Setup Complete: shortcuts to Create First Ticket Panel and Set Up Your Catalog.
What the one-click actions create
The action steps reuse what already exists before creating anything. Post a ticket panel looks for a saved category and an active panel named Support first; Open the store reuses the saved catalog channel and only adds a General category when the server has no visible category at all.
- Missing permission
- If the bot cannot create a channel or category, the step fails with the Discord error and tells you which permission it needs. Nothing else in the area is changed.
- Panel with no staff role
- The panel still posts, but the confirmation warns you that nobody will be pinged when a ticket opens until Staff roles is set.
The Setup page on the dashboard keeps a live checklist of what is still missing, and the Overview page flags any module that is on but not yet working.
