A ticket system gives every support request its own private channel with the member and your staff. Here's the full setup with Noxyr — the same steps map to any ticket bot, ours is just free.
Step 1: Invite the bot
Add Noxyr to your server (you need Manage Server — see the safe-invite guide).
Step 2: Set the basics
In the dashboard's Tickets section, pick: the category where ticket channels open, a log channel, a transcript channel, and your staff roles. Set max open tickets per user to 1 — trust us.
Step 3: Create a panel
A panel is the message members click. Give it a name ("Support"), a title, a short description, and choose button style (one team) or the V2 dropdown (routes to multiple ticket types — billing, reports, appeals). Post it to your #support channel from the dashboard.
Step 4: Automate the boring parts
- Welcome message: what the bot says when a ticket opens — set expectations ("staff reply within 24h").
- Auto-close: close stale tickets after e.g. 72 hours.
- FAQs/autoresponders: answer "how do I buy" style questions instantly; Noxyr can also enable AI ticket help per guild.
- Ratings: let members rate closed tickets so you can spot weak answers.
Step 5: Teach staff the three buttons
Claim (I've got this one), Close with reason, and Close request (member confirms). Transcripts save automatically with images, viewable privately from the dashboard.
That's it. Compare other bots in our ticket bot ranking if you want to shop around first.
