Ticket settings reference
Every option of /ticket setup and /ticket config, what it does and its default.
Where to set them
Ticket Configuration in the dashboard has everything with descriptions and a preview. /ticket setup sets the same fields from Discord in one command; /ticket config setting:<name> value:<value> changes one of the toggles that used to be dashboard-only. /close info shows the values in force for the current ticket.
Structure
- category
- Discord category new ticket channels are created in. Required. 50 channels per category.
- staff_role
- Role that can see and answer every ticket. Panels can add their own roles on top.
- log_channel
- Where open, claim and close events are posted.
- transcript_channel
- Where transcripts are posted on close. Also always saved to the dashboard.
- max_open_per_user
- Default 1. A member with this many open tickets cannot open another.
- auto_close_hours
- 0 (off) or the number of hours without a message after which the ticket is closed with the reason "Auto-closed after N inactive hour(s)".
Closing
- require_close_reason
- The close button opens a pop-up asking for a reason; the reason goes to the log and transcript.
- confirm_close
- Close requests must be confirmed instead of closing immediately.
- allow_opener_close
- Whether the member who opened the ticket can close it, or only staff.
- move_on_close + closed_category
- Move a closed ticket to a separate category instead of leaving it where it was. The opener keeps read access. Ignored when the channel is deleted on close; a full category (50 channels) is logged and the ticket stays put. Also on Ticket Configuration and as /ticket config setting: Move to closed category.
- delete_channel_on_close
- Delete the channel after the transcript is saved instead of archiving it. Keeps categories under the 50 channel limit.
- Close when opener leaves
- Config toggle: close the ticket automatically if the opener leaves the server.
- Claim locks ticket
- Config toggle: once claimed, only the claimer (and admins) can reply.
Transcripts and ratings
- Save transcripts
- Config toggle, on by default.
- dm_transcript
- DM the transcript to the opener on close (needs their DMs open).
- Mirror images
- Config toggle: copy images into the transcript so they survive channel deletion.
- rating_enabled + rating_channel
- After close the opener gets a DM with 1/5 to 5/5 buttons; the score is posted to the rating channel and counted in Ticket Analytics.
Presentation
- welcome_message
- First message in a new ticket. Panels can override it.
- embed_image, embed_thumbnail, embed_footer, panel_color
- Panel embed styling defaults.
- ping_staff_roles
- Mention the staff roles when a ticket opens.
- Button label
- Config: the text on the Open Ticket button.
- Remove branding
- Config: use the server name instead of "Noxyr Tickets" in ticket embed footers.
- enabled
- Master switch for the ticket system; the Tickets module toggle does the same.
