Add Bot Login with Discord

The /setup command

One command for the catalog channel, admin role, log channel, staff role, default image and embed color, plus the roster control panel.

What /setup does

A settings form where a channel, a role and a color are filled in and toggles switch on. #catalog-channel@AdminEmbed colorSave

/setup is the older, single-command way to save the core server settings. It does the same job as the Server Basics area of /quicksetup, but in one go. It needs the Discord Administrator permission or one of the configured admin roles.

Two options are required and the rest are optional. Every run overwrites the required values and the optional channel and role, so run it with the full set you want.

catalog_channel (required)
Text or announcement channel the catalog is posted in.
admin_role (required)
Role allowed to manage shop and catalog commands. Saved as the only admin role: earlier admin roles are replaced.
log_channel
Where the bot writes its activity logs. Leaving it out clears the saved log channel.
staff_role
Staff role for support workflows. Leaving it out clears the saved staff roles.
default_image
Image URL used wherever a feature has no image of its own. Type none to clear it.
embed_color
Hex color for every embed in this server, like #DC2626. Type none to go back to the bot color.

Options that stay untouched

default_image and embed_color are only written when you pass them. Re-running /setup to change the catalog channel does not wipe an image or color the server already set. The confirmation embed shows each value, or Unchanged for the two it did not touch.

An invalid color or a non-http(s) image URL stops the command before anything is saved.

Where it shows up

The same fields live on the Setup page of the dashboard, and the reply includes a button that opens it. The embed color and default image are explained in more detail on the Customization doc page (/docs/customization).

The roster control panel

/roster control-panel posts the GTA RP roster control panel, the message staff use to open roster events. It is registered as /setup-control-panel and folded into the /roster group.

channel
Text or announcement channel to post in. Defaults to the channel you run the command in.

The Rosters module has to be on for this to work. The Rosters doc page (/docs/rosters) covers event types and panels.
