Ticket reminders

DM a member who went quiet in a ticket with /remind, without leaving the channel.

What /remind does

A support ticket opens, gets claimed by staff, closes, and produces an archived transcript. Open ticket #ticket-0042 Open Claimed Closed Staff assigned Transcript

Run /remind inside an open ticket channel and pick a member of that ticket. The bot sends them a direct message saying the ticket is waiting on them, with a link back to the channel and your optional note.

It exists because pinging someone in a ticket they muted does nothing, while a DM shows up.

Options

user
Required. The member to remind. They must be in the ticket.
note
Extra text added to the DM, for example "we need your order ID to continue".

Who can use it

Server admins and members with a configured ticket staff role. Anyone else gets "Only server admins or configured ticket staff roles can use /remind".

Running it outside a ticket channel returns "Use this inside an open ticket channel."

When the DM cannot be delivered

If the member has DMs from server members turned off, Discord refuses the message and the bot tells you so in the ticket. Post the reminder in the channel instead and consider the auto-close timer on the Ticket Configuration page for tickets that stay silent.
