Playing something

Join a voice channel and run /play with a song name or a link. Names search YouTube; type ytm: for YouTube Music or sc: for SoundCloud, or paste an Apple Music, SoundCloud or YouTube link (playlists and albums load whole) or a Spotify track link. Autocomplete shows the top matches as you type.

The bot posts one player card in the channel and keeps editing it: title, artist, progress bar, who requested it, volume, loop and what is next. On servers set to the V2 layout the card is a Components V2 container with the controls inside it.

Who controls the player

Whoever requested the current track, anyone with Manage Server, and anyone with the DJ role can use every control. Without a DJ role set, everyone in the voice channel counts as a DJ.

Everyone else can still press skip: it becomes a vote, and the track skips once half the people in the voice channel have voted.

Lyrics for the current track, synced when available.

Request channel and settings

Pick a request channel and every message posted there is treated as /play, then cleaned up - no command needed. Set it, the DJ role, 24/7, the idle time before the bot leaves and the default volume on the dashboard under Automation → Music, or with /music settings.

The dashboard Music page also shows the live player: what is playing, the queue with remove and play-next, and the same controls as the card. It works whether Noxyr or your custom bot is the one in the voice channel.

Alone in the channel

The bot pauses when the last person leaves and resumes when someone comes back. After the auto-leave time it leaves, unless 24/7 is on.

Sponsor, intro and outro segments on YouTube are skipped automatically.
