Website live chat
The chat widget on the website for visitors signed in with Discord, and how conversations reach the Noxyr team.
Who can use it
The chat bubble in the corner of the website opens for anyone, but sending a message requires being signed in with Discord. A signed-out visitor sees a sign-in button. Each conversation is tied to the Discord account, so it follows you between devices and nobody can open someone else's thread.
How it behaves
The widget checks for new messages by polling, more often while the panel is open and much less often when it is closed or the tab is hidden. Unread replies show a badge on the bubble. Messages are limited to 2000 characters. Sending is rate limited to stop floods.
This is Noxyr support, not your server's
Live chat reaches the Noxyr team about the bot and the website. It is not a ticket system for your members; that is the ticket module inside Discord and the Your Tickets page. For bug reports with details, the Support Center form creates a tracked report.
