How Noxyr picks a host for a custom bot, what "full" means, and how to move to a different one.
How a host gets picked
Automatic is the default and the one most people should leave selected: it always lands on whichever node has the most room, and nodes fill in a fixed order so one is used up before the next one takes new bots.
Picking a specific host still routes you to a real, working node behind the scenes - if the one you picked is offline or full, the best available one is used instead rather than refusing the setup.
What makes a node full
A node stops taking new bots once it hits its own bot limit, or once one more bot would push its measured memory use close to its ceiling. Both checks exist so a node that still looks like it has room on a headcount basis is not overloaded and crashed by running out of memory.
Moving to a different host
Change Node on the Custom Bot page moves an already-running bot to a different one. Every move is a fresh Discord login, and Discord limits how often that can happen, so there is a five-minute cooldown between moves.
A real move briefly restarts the bot while it reconnects on the new host. Nothing about your settings changes, only where the process runs.
If you pick a host that turns out to be offline or full, moving lands you on the next best one instead of failing outright.
Checking on it
The Custom Bot page shows whether your bot is live right now, not just whether it is switched on - a bot can be enabled but briefly reconnecting after a move or a Discord hiccup. Give it a minute before assuming something is wrong.
