Add Bot Login with Discord

Custom bot branding

Setting your custom bot's online status and status text, and how a name or avatar change in the Developer Portal shows up.

Status and status text

Open your server's Custom Bot page to set an online, idle or do-not-disturb status plus a short custom status line - what members see when they hover the bot in the member list. Leave the text blank and it falls back to "Powered by noxyrbot.com".

Saving restarts the bot to apply the change, so there is a short cooldown between saves. If you just changed it, wait a few seconds before changing it again.

Status
Online, idle or do-not-disturb.
Status text
Up to 128 characters, one line.
Default text
"Powered by noxyrbot.com" when left blank.

Changing the bot's name or avatar

The name and avatar are not set on Noxyr's dashboard - they belong to the bot's Discord application, so change them in the Developer Portal (Bot tab) the same way you set them the first time.

The new name is picked up automatically the next time the bot checks in, usually within moments. If the avatar shown on the Custom Bot page looks stale, switching the bot off and back on (or changing its status) forces a fresh read.

What does not change

The bot's Discord user ID never changes no matter how many times you rename it or swap its avatar - roles, permission overwrites and anything else tied to that ID in your server keep working exactly as before.
