Instead of setting a color and an image on every individual feature, Noxyr's Setup page has one server-wide embed color and one default image URL that every message falls back to, unless that specific feature has its own color or image set. This is the fastest way to make a bot's messages look like they belong to your server instead of looking like default bot output, without editing welcome, leave, verification, tickets and the catalog one at a time.
The server-wide embed color
Set on the Setup page, the custom embed color applies to every embed the bot sends in that server unless a feature has its own color configured. Leave it blank and the bot uses its own default color instead. This is a fallback, not an override: welcome, leave, verify, ticket panels and the catalog each have their own color picker on their own settings page, and a color set there always wins over the server-wide one. Use the server-wide setting for the messages nobody has bothered to style individually — command replies and anything without a dedicated color field — and use the per-feature pickers where you want a specific look, like a red ticket panel next to a purple welcome message.
The default image URL — one banner, everywhere
The default image works the same way, but for images: any feature whose own Image URL field is empty uses this one instead. That currently covers ticket panels, welcome and leave messages, verification, the catalog, the cart, reviews and sales reports. Set one branded banner once, and a new server has a consistent look from the first message it sends, with no need to hunt down every image field individually. Setting an image on one of those pages directly overrides the default for that feature only — the fallback stays available for everything else.
The image needs a direct https:// link ending in an actual image — a page that displays an image is not the same as a link to the image file itself, and the bot cannot tell the difference until nothing renders.
"Apply to everything": the one-click override
Next to the default image field is an "Override all images" action that does something different and more aggressive: it writes the default image directly into every individual image field the bot has — not as a fallback, as a replacement. This is destructive on purpose. Any picture a page already had set is overwritten and the previous URL is not kept anywhere, so there is no undo beyond typing the old URL back in if you remember it. It exists for the specific case of a full rebrand where you genuinely want every message using the same image starting now, not a mix of old per-feature images and a new fallback.
The dashboard asks for confirmation before running it and reports how many fields it touched (guild-level fields, the ticket configuration, and ticket panels are counted separately) — read that number, because "more than you expected" usually means a feature you forgot had its own image set.
Where branding still needs its own settings
Two things are deliberately outside the server-wide branding and need setting on their own page:
- Invoice branding — brand name, logo, ID prefix, accent color and footer, set on the Setup page but stored separately since invoices are a different visual format entirely (a rendered document, not a Discord embed).
- Catalog and shop text — the Customization page controls the store's own embed titles, descriptions, button labels and per-currency text, because a shop's copy usually needs more editorial control than a single fallback color and image can give it.
A practical setup order
- Pick your server-wide embed color first, on the Setup page — this is your baseline.
- Add a default image if you have one banner that works everywhere (a logo on a solid background works better as a universal fallback than a busy photo).
- Go through welcome, leave, verify and any other feature you want to look different, and set colors or images only where you want to deviate from the fallback.
- Save the invoice branding and catalog customization separately — they are not touched by any of the above.
Common questions
Does the embed color affect command replies too? It affects any embed the bot builds without its own explicit color, which includes most command output. Features with a dedicated color picker (welcome, leave, verify, tickets, catalog) are not affected by it once they have their own color set.
What happens if I clear the embed color? The "Reset" button next to the color picker clears it back to blank, which falls back to the bot's own default color rather than to anything you had set before.
Can I set different images for welcome and leave if I also have a default image? Yes — set an image directly on the welcome or leave page and it takes priority over the default for that page only. The default keeps serving every other feature that has nothing set.
Is "Override all images" reversible? No. It replaces every image field's current value with the default image and does not store what was there before. Only use it when you genuinely want everything unified starting now.
Does this work for a Custom Bot too? Yes — branding lives on the same guild settings as everything else, so it applies the same way whether Noxyr is answering under its own name or your custom bot's name and avatar.
