MEE6 is still the most-installed Discord bot, but its search interest fell ~30% this year while its paywall grew. If you're here, something you used just went premium. These are the five replacements people actually migrate to.

An old bot fades out while its checklist of features migrates across to a new bot fading in. Old bot Noxyr

1. Noxyr: for the "one bot instead of four" migration

Welcome & leave messages with embeds and buttons, verification, tickets with transcripts, moderation, anti-spam/anti-nuke, giveaways, invoices and reviews, 11 modules on one free web dashboard. If MEE6 was your do-everything bot, this is the closest free equivalent. Add it here.

2. Carl-bot: for automod and reaction roles

The default answer for reaction roles and solid automod. Free tier remains generous.

3. Arcane: for levels and XP

The classic MEE6-levels replacement, though its own free limits have crept in. Fine for straightforward XP + role rewards.

4. Sapphire: for modern component-based setups

The fastest-growing bot of the year (UK searches +190%). Clean, fast, actively developed.

5. Dyno: for the familiar dashboard workflow

Mature moderation, announcements and role management. Some premium gates, but fewer dark patterns than MEE6.

Migration checklist

  • Export what you can: MEE6 levels don't transfer, announce a fresh start or use a levels-import tool where offered.
  • Rebuild welcome messages first (they're the most visible), then automod, then extras.
  • Kick MEE6 only after the replacement has run a full week without complaints.
