Is the Noxyr custom bot free?
Yes. It costs nothing and is unlocked by voting for Noxyr on Top.gg. One vote keeps the custom bot running for 12 hours, followed by a 74-hour grace period with a reminder DM. Vote again at any point and it keeps going.
Can I get custom bot time without voting?
Yes, three more ways, each worth 12 hours on top of what you have left: score 3,000 in Noxyr Rush, the mini game on the website (you can hold 12 game hours at a time); invite a friend who then sets up their first custom bot (you both get 12 hours); or send a bug report or suggestion that the Noxyr team approves. The Get more time page lists them all.
How do custom bot referrals work?
Copy your link from the Get more time page and send it to a friend. When they set up their first custom bot, you both get 12 hours. It counts once per friend, their Discord account has to be at least 30 days old, and you can earn from up to 10 friends every 30 days.
Do I need to set everything up again?
No. The custom bot uses the exact settings, panels and products your server already has with Noxyr. Both read the same data, so nothing is copied, and a change on either dashboard shows up on both.
What happens if I forget to vote?
The dashboard locks, but the bot keeps running for 74 hours. After that it switches off and Noxyr takes over in the meantime. Nothing is deleted: one vote switches it straight back on with everything intact.
What do I need to set up a custom bot?
Your own Discord application and bot token, with the Server Members Intent and Message Content Intent switched on in the Developer Portal. Noxyr has to stay in the server, and you need Administrator on the dashboard. Setup takes about two minutes.
Do you need my client secret?
No. Only the bot token. Never share your client secret with anyone.
Can one custom bot run in several servers?
Yes. One Discord account gets one custom bot, and it can serve every server that account manages, as long as Noxyr is also in each of them. Where the custom bot is present, Noxyr steps aside.
Can I switch back to Noxyr?
Any time. Switch the custom bot off or remove its token and Noxyr answers again within seconds. Your settings do not change.
