# Polls

## Creating a poll

/poll create question duration choice1 choice2 [choice3 … choice10] [channel]. Duration uses the same format as giveaways (30m, 2h, 1d). The poll is posted as an embed with one button per choice and a live count.

## Voting

One vote per member. Pressing another choice moves the vote; pressing the same choice again tells the member they already voted for it. Counts update on the message as votes come in.

## Ending and results

Polls end when the duration is up, or early with /poll end message_id. The final embed shows the totals. Right-click the poll message → Apps → view voters shows who voted for what; it is admin-only.

## Summary page

Each poll has a web summary page linked from the ended embed, with the question, choices and counts, useful for sharing results outside Discord. Giveaways have the same kind of page.

> Note: Polls are their own module (Polls) and can be turned off without affecting giveaways.
