# Your own AI keys

Run every AI feature in your server on your own OpenRouter, Groq, NVIDIA or Token Harbor key, with no Noxyr limit.

## What it does

Add an API key from an AI provider and every AI feature in that server runs on it, on Discord and on the dashboard: AI chat, ticket AI (FAQ answers, priority, panel and channel hints, Close button), and every Build with AI button. Your provider's limit is the only one. The key is only ever used for that server.

- **Providers**: OpenRouter, Groq, NVIDIA and Token Harbor. Each one has a Get a key button that opens its key page.
- **As many as you like**: Add several keys, from one provider or many. Turn each one on or off, rename it, test it or delete it.
- **Groups**: Every key in Group 1 is used first, shared between them. Then Group 2, and so on. A key that hits its limit is skipped until it is back.
- **Model**: Leave it on Auto and Noxyr picks free models that do the job well, so it never spends your money. Or pick one model from the provider's list.
- **Usage**: Calls and tokens for today and all time, the requests and tokens the provider says are left, and OpenRouter credit.

## When keys run out

When every key is limited or stops working, Noxyr's own AI answers again, so AI in your server never just stops. As soon as a key is back, it is used again.

## Set it up

1. Open the dashboard, then AI → AI Limits.
2. Under Your own AI providers, pick a provider and press Get a key. Make a key on its site and copy it.
3. Paste the key, give it a name and a group if you like, and press Add key.
4. Press Test to check it answers.

## Safety

- **Encrypted**: Keys are saved encrypted. The dashboard only ever shows the last 4 characters.
- **One person, one key**: A key someone else already saved is refused. Sharing keys breaks most providers' rules and can get the account suspended.
- **Gentle on your key**: The bot rests a key as soon as the provider says nothing is left, waits when it says slow down, and lets each member send one AI message every few seconds. Nothing pings your key in the background.
- **Told when it breaks**: If your key is rejected or keeps hitting its limit, whoever added it gets one DM a day, plus a phone alert if Phone Alerts is set up.
- **Provider rules**: Your provider's own rules apply to your key. NVIDIA's free keys are meant for testing, not for a busy server.

## Who can change keys

Only the server owner and Administrators can add, change or delete keys.
