# Commands

How commands are grouped, and who can run them.

## Grouping

Related commands are folded under one parent so they sit where you would look for them: /catalog setup, /ticket panel, /invoice create. This also keeps the bot well under Discord's limit of 100 slash commands.

## Permissions

Admin commands require the Administrator permission or one of your configured admin roles. Public commands - /help, /ping, /faq, /close and the rest - are available to every member.

> Note: The full, always-current command list lives at /commands, with a one minute video tour at the top. It is generated from the commands the bot actually loaded, so it cannot drift.

## Your own names

Every command also works as a message with your server prefix ($help by default), and each server can give commands extra names of its own, like $store for $shop. See Prefix commands and Custom commands.
